Update on the Neighbor: He's currently not in jail.

I saw him this morning when I went over at 7:30 to walk Abby. E was still working from early Sunday morning, so he'd asked me to stop in and say hello to her and make sure she's doing okay. (The dog walkers had taken care of Sunday.) Abs was fine, and I was just getting into my car as Joel walked out of his house with another guy. Joel was all spruced up - suit on, hair slicked back, all sorts of dapper. I gave a wave, but not much of a smile, and went along my merry way. E thinks maybe he doesn't remember...but I feel certain you have to remember SOMETHING...like, 'where did I get the bag to put all these bloody clothes ln??'.
